Jerome B. Spector, CPA
Jerry is the founder of Spector & Associates, LLP. He has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting advising clients on tax, estate, and financial planning matters. Prior to forming Spector & Associates, he spent eight years with a national CPA firm as their managing partner in the Palo Alto office and as western regional director. Jerry is recognized by his peers for his extensive work in the areas of estate and income tax planning. He has authored and taught multiple programs on tax and financial management services. Jerry has presented programs to a variety of organizations including the Santa Clara Bar Association, the University of California, the Jewish Welfare Federation Endowment Fund, and the Palo Alto Financial Planning Forum.
Michael
E. Spector, CPA
Michael has been practicing in private and public accounting since 1992. After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley, he moved to Seattle, Washington and worked in the private sector as a management accountant. In 1994, Michael joined Spector & Associates and has been instrumental in developing and delivering the firm’s wealth management services. He assists a variety of high net worth clients in deploying complex tax minimization and wealth preservation strategies. Michael has extensive experience with corporate stock and stock option plans. He has written and taught programs on the tax treatment of stock options to the employees of both private and public companies.
Tamara L. McInerney , CPA Tami began her career with S&A after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1991. She has a BS in business administration with a concentration in accounting and a minor in psychology. Tami also holds a Certificate in Estate Planning from the California CPA Education Foundation and a Real Estate Salesperson License from the California Department of Real Estate. She specializes in the area of trust and estate taxation, and in providing income and estate planning to high net worth individuals and closely-held businesses. Tami's specialties also include taxation of charitable remainder trusts, private foundations, and non-profits. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
